Caroline Kaira – Founder and Director of Care Services
Caroline Kaira brings a wealth of professional experience and compassionate leadership to Zion Home Care. Born in Jinja, Uganda, Caroline moved to the United States over 20 years ago. From a young age, she has been deeply involved in church and community service, driven by a strong Christian faith and a heart for helping others.
Caroline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Makerere University and has spent more than 15 years building a distinguished nursing career in the United States. Her clinical experience spans various specialties, including medical-surgical nursing, critical care, post-surgical recovery, and long-term care.
Her passion for elderly care was ignited during her nursing training, where she cared for a patient struggling with depression due to a lack of family presence. Caroline stepped in not only as a caregiver but as a source of comfort and companionship, offering the compassion and love reflective of her faith.
Beyond her professional work, Caroline has personally cared for elderly family members both in the United States and Uganda, providing physical, spiritual, and financial support. Her life’s work reflects her belief in serving others with dignity, empathy, and kindness—values that are foundational to Zion Home Care’s mission.
